Apple Banana Oatmeal
Chop the apple into cubes and set aside. Mash the banana and set aside.
Put the oats and 1 1/4 cup water into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer.
While the oats are simmering, heat a skillet on medium low. Add 1/4 cup of water and the apples to the skillet. Cook for about 10 minutes or until soft, tossing every few minutes.
While the apples are finishing, check the oats. They should be soft and almost all of the water absorbed. Add the mashed banana and cinnamon into the oats and mix well.
Once the apples are finished cooking, add them to the banana oat mixture. Serve in a bowl and top with the chopped walnuts for a little crunch.
