Ingredients
  • 1 1/2Cups red or purple grapes
  • 2Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1tsp maple syrupoptional and to taste
Instructions
  1. Take the grapes off of the vine, and add to a small pot. Turn the heat on medium low, and begin cooking the grapes, turning them often.
  2. You will begin to see the peels breaking open on the grapes. Continue stirring them around and heating until the grapes are soft when you squeeze them between your fingers.
  3. Once all of the grapes are soft, turn the heat off and put the grapes in a bowl to cool down.
  4. Add the grapes and the chia seeds to a food processor. If adding maple syrup, put into the processor as well. Blend the mixture until all of the skins are ground up. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes and check it’s consistency. It should be more like a jam than a jelly – but you can make it however you’d like. If you think it needs a bit more chia seeds, add another 1/2 tbsp.
  5. Add the mixture to a jar with a lid, and put in the fridge! The mixture should last 5-7 days.
