Ingredients
  • 1cup cashews
  • 1/2cup plant-based milkunsweetened
  • 1/2cup nutritional yeastmore to taste
  • 1Tbsp lemon juiceor juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1/2tsp garlic powder
  • 1tsp sriracha
  • 1pinch salt
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients for the nacho cheese sauce together in a food processor or blender. The lemon is a key ingredient for making this taste like nacho sauce, so don’t leave it out!
  2. Taste and add more Sriracha if you want more of a kick. However, as the sauce sits, the flavors meld so you may want to wait 5 minutes and check it again. If the sauce gets thick, add water or a little more soy milk to get it to the consistency you like.
  3. Pour into a bowl and use for dipping the yummy fries above. You can also use this sauce on top of potatoes or for other dips and toppings.
